FCHS compares favorably

Falls City High School received information regarding the results of last year's ACT testing.  The ACT test consists of curriculum-based tests of educational development in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. It is designed to measure the skills needed for success in a student's first year of college coursework.   In the 2006-07 school year, 44 students took the test and scored a composite average of 22.3.  This is an increase in the number of students who participated in the test and an improvement in their composite average. In the 2005-06 school year, the composite average was 22.1.

Falls City’s composite average of 22.3 is above the state average of 22.1 and the national average of 21.2.
