Students participate in Arbor Day planting

Bruce Walker talks to the School School students before the tree planting ceremony.
On Friday, April 25, in observance of Arbor Day, Bruce Walker came to South School. He talked to the students and planted a red sugar maple tree on the playground east of the school. After planting the tree, a short program was held in the multipurpose room with each grade participating with a song, poem, or reading.

The red sugar maple is planted on the playground by Bruce Walker, who is assisted by a South School student.
