Land judging team qualifies for State

Qualifying for the State Land Judging Contest are Laura Stevens, Victoria Vollmer, Jimmy Jarred, and Casey Gerdes.

On Wednesday, October 10, the Falls City FFA traveled to the Gage County Fair Grounds to participate in the annual Land Judging Contest. The team of Laura Stevens, Casey Gerdes, Jimmy Jarred, and Victoria Vollmer won the first place trophy and earned the right to participate in the State Land Judging Contest. Several other Falls City High students excelled in the contest and earned ribbons.

The following students earned individual ribbons:
Purple ribbons – Laura Stevens, Trevor Campbell, Jared Eickhoff
Blue ribbons – Casey Gerdes, Jimmy Jarred
Red ribbons – Kyle Rhodd, Cody Guthals, Terri Brown
White ribbons – Lane Merz, Victoria Vollmer, Tyler Way
