Health professionals speak at FCMS

On Wednesday, April 9th, two speakers from the community came to Falls City Middle School to discuss health issues with the students.

Sandy Catlin APRN spoke to the girls regarding the importance of self breast exams (SBE). Chuck Hagedorn CRNA talked to the boys regarding the importance of testicular self exams (TSE). The presentations were
followed by questions from the students and teachers.

Commenting on the talks, Cathie Snider, school nurse said, "They were very informative and I believe the message was well received." She added, "I am so pleased that they took time out of their busy schedules to share their knowledge with Falls City Middle School."
