National Honor Society holds induction

On Thursday, March 27, 2008, Falls City High School conducted a National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. The program began with an introduction and history of National Honor Society led by the principal and National Honor Society sponsor, Gale Dunkhas. The four qualities– Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service–were read by the current National Honor Society officers: Stephanie Elwonger, president; Laura Stevens, vice-president; Emily Streit, secretary; and Krista Kopf, treasurer. The induction pledge was then read and cards and pins were distributed. The ceremony was closed with a few words from Mr. Dunkhas. Following the ceremony, cake and punch was served by the National Honor Society officers.
The new inductees include seniors Kayla Fritz and A.J. McAfee; juniors Allison Joy, Jessica Kelz, and Sarah Nolte; and sophomores Amy Dunn, Michael Huettner, Samantha Lampe, Trent Scheitel, Kent Stejskal, and Victoria Vollmer. |
