Marteny wins two medals
in Peru Business Contest

Senior Kassie Mareny displays the medals she won in the 35th annual Peru Business Contest.

Falls City High School students participated in the Peru Business Contest on Wednesday, February 20. Senior Kassie Marteny was a double medal winner, placing second in Business Communications and fifth in Business Math.

Other FCHS students who competed in the contests were Christina Cummins, Margaret Gay, Kaleb Gilkerson, Mitch Liberty, Dan Meyer, Gillian Rolfe, and Dillon Shafer. At this year's contest, there were 20 area schools from Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas. Approximately 300 students participated in 15 business categories.
